I'm sure many artists who lived through the first round of Covid lockdowns have a story about what they did with this "new free time" time and how it impacted their work. About half of my time was spent learning new instruments, but the other half was spent playing and immersing myself in fantasy video games, books, and novels. It reminded me how, in other hard parts of my life, the fantasy genre and the stories and worlds within it have been a "happy place" for me and brought me elements of peace and calm.
This Album is a reflection of both this fantastical immersion and the last few years of hard work that went into learning some of the "main voices" (The Hatun Charango and the Quenacho) you will hear within it.
These tunes have brought me an immense amount of calm and tranquility. If, in listening to it, you recieve even a sliver of that feeling, what I am hoping to convey has succeeded.
Thank you for coming by to take a listen to my first E.P. This is my first attempt to get out what's been swimming around in my head, from my own perspective and artistic direction. I'm very grateful to finally have the tools and means to do this and for the wonderful people who have helped this vision come to life.
